Heaven Help Me!

I'm busting out the sewing machine today... I'll be posting again later in the day with an update (probably of frustration, I haven't used a sewing machine since my senior year of high school. And while that's within a decade, it's not far from it.)

Among other things, I'm going to be making these soon... though, I may end up doing them by hand out of habit.

ETA 1:30p: Not posting later, just updating here. 
It appears that using a sewing machine is indeed much like riding a bicycle (though Jenna pointed out "without the road rash").

Aside from a little of this awesomely gross brown and peach paisely, I don't have any extra fabric at the moment which means I've got to get some before I can really do anything, but I did manage to get a little in and so that's fun.

    I discovered a woman who posted youtube videos showing me how to do EVERYTHING with my model of sewing machine. It's been a lifesaver! Especially considering I bought it like 4 years ago and have used it probably 4 times, so each time it's always last minute and I'm going...how does this work again?
