Additions to the Wardrobe

Retro Styled Dress from ModCloth (Too Much Fun in Purple Petunias) – Love! This retro styled dress is a ton of fun, I’ve paired it with a brown cardi, Mustard yellow tights and a pair of brown boots, just to shake the super dressy feel. And it’s got pockets!!! (If I have one complaint it’s that the neck line is a bit too high, and sometimes I get that uncomfortable “being choked” feeling – not because it’s choking me, but because I don’t like necklines that touch my neck.)

Swishy Pink Skirt! Also from ModCloth (Mauve Squad Skirt) – Adore this skirt. It’s Long! Which I love. And it’s a super swishy fabric that doesn’t wrinkle easily/is fun to twirl in. And it’s got pockets! I do desperately love pockets in things. The waist band is the only thing that’s a little iffy. It can pop out, standing straight instead of conforming to the contours of the waist and looks a little funny if you want to wear a shirt over it.

BRIGHT TIGHTS! From Target – I can’t get enough of these four pairs of bright tights I picked up from Target this past weekend. Mustard Yellow, Robin’s Egg Blue, Buble Gum Pink, and Violet will go lovely with my only two other pair at the moment, Electric Blue and Neon Pink. I went looking for the mustard yellow pair, but since we’re so close to the hot summer of Phoenix, the full set was on sale, so I grabbed a few pairs

Atomic Hoodie from ThinkGeek (Big Bang Theory Atom Hoodie) – This hoodie has me smitten. I don’t usually buy show related clothing, though I do own a t-shirt with the Tardis on it. But I needed a new hoodie and happened to be on ThinkGeek for something else and decided I liked this one too much to pass up. There is one small problem, and that’s in the SUPER POINTY hood, which means you look like an alien with a cone head if you want to put up the hood.
