The Start Of A $30 Week Plan!

So! We’ve started slashing out grocery budget since we’ve stored up a bit of a stockpile. We’ve set a limit of $30 a week. A BIG change from the $125 we think we used to spend. Here’s how we did:

3 tubes Colgate Toothpaste - $0.00ea ($2.99, store Sale 0.99, MFG Coupon $1/1)
Total @ Full Price: $62.90
Final amount Paid: $22.03
Total Savings: $40.87 (66%)

Fry’s
2 boxes Velveeta Cheesy Skillets - $0.99 ($2.79, Store Sale 1.99, MFG Coupon $1/1)
1 1/2gallon Skim Milk - $0.88 ($2.59, Store Sale 0.88)
10 S&W canned Tomatoes - $0.49 ($1.99, Store Sale 0.99, Buy 10 save $5)
Total @ Full Price: $25.33
Final amount Paid: $7.96
Total Savings: $17.31 (69%)

If you do the quick math… that’s $29.99! Also, you’ll note that we got MORE toothpaste – Katie, when you come visit, you’re welcome to take some tubes (but not my dog).
We’re contemplating doing a meat and produce run next week … but we’ll see!
