A Few Pictures of What We Did This Weekend

We bought a new lime green rug. and a chandalier for what we're now calling the sitting room  (ignore the boxes, they're trying to flatten out that end of the rug.)

We got the same rug in dark blue for the bedroom.

    Sorry. You know why I haven't been around, so I won't make any excuses to you. I'll just say, I LOVE that rug! Although, my dogs would head to that and leave me little (actually big) presents like they were in the dog park. Love the chandelier. Love the whole vibe of the room.

    Yes, Birdy, it and the rugs are all from IKEA (along with a lot of our furniture) and the Couch too (we died the cover purple though.)

    Okay... scratch that, did you get a lot of that room from Ikea? It looks like it to me, but I could be completely wrong.

    The couch (8 years ago) the rug, the chandalier and the two bookshelves that make up our bar are all from IKEA - the coffee table (which is about 12 years old) is from Bo Concepts which is just a higher end IKEA - I think they're even owned by the same parent company.

    The art however is all ours though. I know you cant see it, but everything on the walls that are visible one of us painted or is a piece of my photography.

    You're good. I can NEVER decide on what rug would look best where. Because of it, we may never have rugs. I feel like it's a larger investment that I will have to look at for a long period of time and so it has to be right on the money.

    Love that you went for it! And the green is bold, adding the perfect pop to your room!
