"Get it done by 2013" Update

Blogging:
  • Get back into a regular routine on my blogs!
    • Seriously working on this one. I’m doing rather well – on one blog – and I think the key to this is figuring out a compromise and work out a better schedule.
  • Review at least 52 movies
    • Oddly this is not going as well as I’d hoped... I’m at 17 so far. Not terrible, but not great. Screen Gems Junkie
  • Review 4 full TV Series (Firefly, Sherlock, Luther and Downton Abbey were the lucky winners of that lotto)
    • Working my way through these. Sherlock is done. I plan on posting Firefly all at once – when I’m done with them, Downton and Luther are started… but they’re far from finished. Also, I’m doing quite a bit of reviews of other things as we watch them… so that’s biting into my focus.
  • Review the first 3 seasons of Eureka
    • This may be the most difficult goal – mostly it’s all about finding time to re-watch the series. At present I’m 0 for 43 on that count.
 Writing/Reading:
  • Finish 5 more Novel Drafts (You can follow my progress on that front at my writing blog I update every Thursday)
    • I’ve finished 2 novel drafts, so I’ve only got 3 more to go! Check out my updates page for more in-depth details.
  • Read at least 21 more novels
    • I’ve only gotten 4 novels read so far, and one of them was a re-read, but I’ll count it!
 Home:
  • Organize, edit and de-clutter my digital photo files.
    • I started this  got a ways and then ended up getting distracted by something else… anyway, still plugging along, but nothing super progressive – and I certainly don’t have much of anything to show for it.
  • Get the Long closet under control (It’s turned into a dumping ground and not even the curtain that covers it is helping my anxiety on that front.)
    • This is actually at a point I could call it finished. It’s organized, it’s tidy, and Earl certainly thinks it’s done. But there are a few things that could be better organized, and I’d like to get a rolling tool cabinet to put against the west wall of the closet to organize the ridiculous amount of tools we own. And I’m still looking for the perfect China Hutch to get the china out of the Rubbermaid tub it now calls home.
  • Finish the re-decorating of the master Bedroom and Master Bath.
    • This might be put on hold. We’re still debating whether or not to re-sign our lease, and if we don’t, there’s no real point in doing much here. So, we shall see.
