We're becoming a Three-Couch Household

So.
We bought a new couch.
At the moment we’ve got a lovely little white piece of paper with a business card stapled to it and a phone call coming on Wednesday – so they can schedule the delivery.
If you recall, we presently have a purple sofa, and a lime green sofa.

And if you’re guessing that we got something candy apple red or canary yellow… or smurf blue, well, you’re wrong.
Though, truth be told… I was very tempted by a sofa/loveseat set that was upholstered in a deep blue tufted velvet.
Our new sofa… is going to match our dog! (Because that is totally a priority!)
Here’s the thing: We moved into this new place and the purple sofa… it’s just so dang small that it kind of disappeared in the room – also, it’s a bit of a pain when we have anyone over as purple is only big enough for 2.5 people (comfortably).
As of Saturday, Purple’s going to be an outside sofa – our new balcony is almost 100sqft, so we’re turning it into an outdoor living room (and recent calculations – and carbon dating – have put Purple’s age at near 8 years old. Not bad for a $300 IKEA couch). Green is in the office as it’s conveniently also a bed and works great on the rare occasion that we need to accommodate overnight guests.
On Saturday, they’re delivering the Gray Behemoth.

It won’t come with those red pillows, or the awesome head vase back on the consul table – this is a picture of the floor model in Denmarket (flipped so the chaise is the right direction).
One of the best parts? It’s TWEED! And oh so comfy.

  1. How exciting!! I'm sure it's going to look gorgeous in the new apartment. You'll have to post a photo.
