Clue(do) Party!!!

This past weekend we had a party. I'd had the great Idea to have a Clue themed party - which worked well in the month of Halloween! So planning was done and prep was done as well and when it came down to it... this is what happened....

(Our Fridge: Stuffed and Waiting for the Party)

We had Thematically appropriate food!

Mr. Greens and Dip in the lounge, with the knife....
In the trifle bowl we have Mrs. Peacock Puffs (cream cheese, chicken and garlic wrapped in filo)
The three wiggly plates were contributed by Mrs. Peacock and Proff. Plum, in the center coiled rope (hummus tortilla wraps) and then Revolver pizzas (loaded with kalamata olives or unloaded, just cheese) with the Revolver.
Col. Mustard Deviled Eggs with Mrs. White Bean Salad and you can just barely see the edge of the candlestick.

Proff. Plum Tart with Devonshire Cream.

And... not pictured because I'm a bit of an air head... Mrs. Scarlet Red Wine Cake. (don't worry, it was sooo good, we're making it again - that's for sure)

We played the game and watched the movie!
(We even broke out our slightly vintage version of the game)

I must say I think it was a success!

Okay... I would have taken another photo... if I'd realized this was this bluzzy when I initially took it...
From Right to Left: Anna as Miss Scarlet (Anna's British, and in England Miss Scarlet is blonde and the game is called Cludo), Chris as Col. Mustard, Me as Mrs. White, Earl as Mr. Green, Lucy as Yvette (hiding her face), Natalie as Mrs. Peacock, Linus as Wadsworth, and Dave as Proff. Plum!
Mrs. Peacock and her little butler with his crooked teeth!

  2. It looks like you all had a great time. What a fun idea--I'm filing it in the back of my mind. I'd love to do it sometime. Maybe in the spring.
