This Trip’s for Keith & His Momma

This was another week that we didn’t need to buy anything (thanks to Katie and Jesse being in town last week) so we decided to fill out our pantry a little bit. Here’s what we ended up with.

Safeway
10 cans S&W Beans - $0.29ea ($1.39, Buy 8 participating items get $4, MFG Coupon $1/2)
2 boxes Pasta-Roni - $0.79ea ($1.25, Buy 8 participating items get $4)
1 4pack Seattle’s Best Coffee - $1.49 ($5.79, Store Sale $3.49, MFG Coupon $2/1)
6 bottles Barilla Pasta Sauce - $1.00 ($3.49, Store Sale 2/$6, MFG Coupon $1/1)
6 Knorr Home-style Stock - $0.99 ($3.99, Store Sale $2.99, MFG Coupon $2/1)
6 bags Crave Cat Treats* - $0.00 ($1.59, Store Sale 2/$3, MFG Coupon Get one Free!)
Total @ Full Price: $78.38
Final Amount Paid: $23.56
Total Savings: $54.82 (71%)
* We don’t have cats… but we have friends who do, so we picked these up for them – after all, they were completely free.

Fry’s
7 bottles Nivea Women’s Body Wash - $1.00ea ($6.49, Store Sale 2/$6, MFG Coupon $2/1)
6 sticks Brut Deodorant - $0.00 ($1.99, Store Sale $10/10, MFG Coupon $1/1)
Total @ Full Price: $65.88
Final Amount Paid: $9.51
Total Savings: $56.37 (88%)

I’d also like to point out that, excluding tax, we were totally under our $30/week budget at $28.79.
And now our pantry looks like this:
(Sorry the Kitchen's not very well lit - all the lights point toward the counter opposite.)

  1. Haha, I was all happy about getting ONE of those bottles of Nivea body wash for two bucks last week when we went shopping. You put me to shame!
