The Weekend That Saw Nothing Done

Okay, so I did a few things, but nothing I’d really planned to do. Irritatingly this morning found me with a house that is a mess and a book that has me far, far behind on my reading schedule.

The things I did do:

Spent way too much money on curtains (Pictures when they arrive and we install them)

Procured more free furniture for our “in the building” friends. A lovely coffee table and End table that one of their cats seemed thoroughly pleased with.

We hung the blackout curtain’s Earl’s mom bough for all three of her new home’s bedrooms (No pictures, because I was too tired to think about it before we left on Saturday.)

Things I didn’t get done:

Reading – Oh I cannot tell you the amount of reading I wanted to get done this weekend! (okay, I wanted to get at least 300 pages out of the way. I maybe got 30 pages) so the book I intended to finish tonight won’t be done until probably Wednesday.

Writing – I did write, just on nothing I was supposed to and not in any real quantity.

Lucy – we meant to get her groomed, but sadly her groomer is all booked up, and so she must remain the shaggy dog. But at least she  still has her laundry to lay on... or in
