A Week of Lucy: Against Bathing and Haircuts

Let us discuss the time honored tradition of giving ones dog a bath. It is rubbish and shouldn’t be done!
We’re dogs for barking aloud! We’re supposed to smell like dog. It’s why we roll around in grubby stuff. Why is it that you human folk can’t understand this!?!
Look at that poor lout up there. Does he look happy? Does he? I don’t think so. And when it comes to dog expressions, I think I’m a better interpreter than you are.
Please. This is an appeal for all dog owners. Please, please, please. Don’t wash your dogs. We’ll just run out side and get dirty the first second we can. And will someone please tell my owner I don’t like it. She doesn’t listen to me one bit. Maybe I’ll have to start a pet-ition for this…

So the landlady/roommate - she insists that I call her mom - has a strict hair length policy, that meants I got a hair cut yesterday...
This is unacceptable:

This, she feels, is appropriate:

Snazzy sweater huh? There's a freeze warning in the valley for a few days (it was 39 degrees this morning), so "mom" put on the ol' sweater.

betweenm you and me, I dont really mind, as long as it doesnt involve a hat. I'd shread the squirel halloween costume to pieces if I could find it.

I'm off in search of that blasted squirl, or maybe I'll find a way out of this glass case they keep me in so I can get to those pesky pigeons that perch in the palm fronds. Harumpfh, filthy, tasty birds...
