Let’s See How Vague I Can Be About This
Ok, the thing is, this is week 5… I’ll admit, I’m not used to any sort of a schedule, but 5 weeks!? If it were the other way around it wouldn’t be so annoying. I’d be freaked out - and devastated that I’d have to wait that long for my next margarita - yes, but not so annoyed.
Frankly, I’m tired and this is getting expensive.
We’ve previously discussed my abhorring of the doctor, so I’m still holding out and Webmd has been much less than helpful – same with internet forums. Does anyone know a way to tell my hormones to “knock it off”?

Pee sticks are pretty accurate.
ReplyDeleteOk, its pretty much the polar opposite of that... (Not that I'm trying to get pregnant. that is not the case at all)
ReplyDeleteSorry, all I can say is "el doctor".
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure of the situation, but I can tell you I had an undiagnosed pituitary problem for years. It's a hard thing to detect, sorry, without the doctor. Mine was sporadic periods, like every 72 days, 100 days, and so on and so on. It can be the opposite with periods that never end, too. I'm not sure which one we're talking about here. But if it is the never ending period, that, my friend, needs to be checked out ASAP. Sorry to be such a downer. My advice. Ask around and find a good doctor on your plan, if you have one. It was why my problem went undiagnosed for so long, bad doctors.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't know anyone in the medical community, here's what my best friend, a nurse practitioner, always advises people: Call your local hospital and ask to speak to the nursing staff on the floor of whatever specialty you need, in your case just ask for OB or gynecology. Nurses will give you the real scoop. They know who the asses are and who are worth their salt.
Sorry, don't mean to be Debbie Downer and give you more worry, but get yourself checked out.
